Foreign Languages Publishing and Distribution Administration

This is the institution that implements policy and publishers, prints and distributes books and periodicals in foreign languages. It has seven subordinate magazines: Beijing Review, China Today, China Pictorial, People’s China, El Popola Cinio, Chinese Literature and Chinafrica; and eleven presses: Foreign Languages Press, New World Press, Chinese Literature Press, Dolphin Books, Sinolingua, China Today Press, China Pictorial Press, People’s China Press, Morning Glory Publishing House, Chinese Esperanto Press and New Star Publisher. It also owns the Foreign Languages Printing House and the China International Book Trading Corporation. It has established overseas branches and offices in the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan, Egypt, Tanzania and Hong Kong, and has distribution stations in Shanghai, Xiamen, Yantai, Wuxi and Guilin.
