On Nov.30, 1982, the visiting China's Central Singing and Dancing Troupe gave performances in Gurgan Town, 40 kilometers from New Delhi, at the invitation of Indian Rural Cultural Center. Chinese artists played and sang Chinese and Indian dances and songs to entertain Indian audiences. After the performances, the audience went up to the stage to shake hands with Chinese artists.
