On July 26, 1985, Indian Mamata Cianca Ballet Troupe gave a premiere in Beijing. Vice-Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Huang Hua, Vice-Minister of Culture Lu Zhixian and Indian Ambassador to China Menon watched Indian artists' performances. They also had a group photo with the Indian artists after the performances.
