On May 9, 1994, the first Indian festival opened in Beijing. India sent 10 delegations of 140 people, involving government delegates, art performance, scientific and technological exhibition, book show, fashion show and literal research seminar. The two-month festival was held in 18 cities in China. Indian artists are performing Mannypreediras dance in the opening festival of the ceremony.
