Dec. 9, 1982 was the 40th anniversary of the death of Dr. Dwarkanath S. Kotnis, who was Chinese people's close friend and proletarian and international fighter. At the eve of the anniversary, Dr. Dwarkanath S. Kotnis Memorial Hall in Norman Bethune Hospital was reopened to public after renovation.
