The Second South Asian Wushu Championship

The Second South Asian Wushu Championship, organized by the Indian Wushu Association was held in New Delhi from March 27 to 29, 2003.

About 120 competitors from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India took part in the competition.

Three experienced Chinese Wushu coaches were invited to come and train the Indian competitors from March 18 to April 1, 2003.

H.E. Mr. Hua Junduo, ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of India, as guest of honor, inaugurated the opening ceremony on March 27, 2003 and presented Wushu sports apparatus to the Indian Wushu Association on behalf of the Chinese Wushu Association.
