On the afternoon of September 6, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with Singaporean Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, who is here to attend the summer meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in China's coastal city of Dalian.

Both sides spoke positively of the sound momentum of China-Singapore relations and agreed to expand cooperation in building ecological cities. The two leaders also agreed to explore new cooperative projects including tapping the Changxing Island of Liaoning province, for both sustainable development and economic profits.

Goh Chok Tong arrived in Dalian on September 4.

The summer meeting is held from Sept. 6 to 8 in Dalian's World Expo Center.
